What we collect
Emails you send us. If you email a question, we receive your email address, name if given, and the content of your message. We use this only to read and, where possible, reply to your message, and occasionally to inform future articles without identifying you.
Contact tool. The question builder on our contact page runs entirely in your browser. It does not transmit or store what you type.
Server logs. Our hosting provider may record technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability. These logs are kept for a limited period.

Legal basis
We rely on legitimate interests to answer correspondence and keep the site secure, and on consent for any non-essential storage.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who host the site and email, under appropriate agreements. We keep correspondence for up to 24 months, then delete it.
